Specifics: I am using a radio module from Hope RF. Very tiny components. Also I want the antenna vertically polarised to match the remote antenna. I currently have the module running nicely with a separate antenna which glues to the inside of the project's ABS box, connected via coax.
But my client doesn't want glue, has an aversion to it. Also, when it comes to designing the pcb so that the module to be soldered directly on to it. I am not sure what to do about the main pcb's ground plane. I am fairly sure I should cut out the ground plane or any other fills under it and rely on the module to have its ground plane sorted out.
